Spider Vein Removal
Spider veins, or telangiectasias, are the tiny purple or red blood vessels commonly found on face or legs. They are often a normal part of the aging process and are incited by hormonal changes, injury or sun damage. These veins are dysfunctional, unsightly and become more prominent when left untreated.
IPL (intense pulsed light ) is best for treating rosacea and very fine facial veins. During the treatment, IPL selectively coagulates the superficial blood vessels and they gradually fade away as the body reabsorbs the damage.
ScleroTherapy is used for treating small to mid-size spider veins. A very safe sclerosing agent - saline solution – is injected into the vein using a tiny needle, causing the vein to blanch and gradually disappear.
